Tough Love | Full Moon & Mercury Rx
Weekly Astrology | June 28 - July 4, 2026
This week brings a release, a review, and a call to rise to the occasion.
On June 29, we have a Full Moon in Capricorn on the same day Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer.
Mercury retrograde in Cancer is reviewing your emotional history.
And whatever happens within a day or two of this Full Moon, we will be processing throughout Mercury retrograde.
The two big things in the sky are happening simultaneously
and they are collaborating.
A Capricorn Moon is not a coddling kind of energy.
Capricorn does not care what you have been through.
It just wants to know if you showed up and did the thing.
Because you either did it or you didn’t. Period.
Capricorn has no patience to hear your sob story.
So a Full Moon in Capricorn is telling us it’s time to buck up.
Listen.
It is important to sit with our feelings and process them.
But there has to be an endgame.
There has to be a plan to pull our shit together and move on.
We cannot live in our pain forever.
We cannot keep replaying the stories of what we perceive people did to us or circumstances that were unfair.
Yes, acknowledge it.
Feel it.
Process it.
Then release it.
Some people have forgotten that last step.
They have made their pain their identity.
They have lost sight of who they really are outside of what they have been through.
So this Full Moon is the reminder to release it.
The Era of playing the victim is OVER.
Because we cannot step into our new high frequency timeline holding onto low frequency baggage. That baggage serves us no purpose anymore. We just carry it around because we think it’s ours to carry. Well I’m here to tell you that it’s time to leave it behind. It’s not yours to carry anymore.
We want to be babied, but deep down we know it is time to grow up.
We all play victim loops.
I’m not good enough.
Nothing ever works out for me.
People are always mean to me.
And in extreme cases, some people cannot separate themselves from the stories they replay of who did them wrong years ago.
The Sun is also in Cancer, pouring its energy into this Full Moon.
The Sun asks you to think about who you really are at your core.
Not who you perceive yourself to be because of what happened to you.
Who are you without hiding behind the victim persona?
Full Moons are about release.
It is time to release the identity where you perceive yourself as the victim.
It’s time to remember who you really are.
Jupiter Enters Leo
Jupiter is still in Cancer during the Full Moon, making the emotions and the release even bigger.
Then the next day, Jupiter enters Leo.
This is a blessing.
Jupiter in Leo brings fun, confidence, boldness, creativity, and visibility.
Now that you have released the baggage of seeing yourself as the victim of circumstance or other people, you are ready to step into the spotlight.
Center stage.
It is your time to shine.
But Jupiter immediately squares…
Chiron in Taurus
It’s going to hurt to stay the same.
It’s time for a change.
Can your self-worth rise to the occasion?
Can you actually allow yourself to be seen?
Because it is time to take action on your destiny.
Mars enters Gemini on June 28 and sextiles Jupiter.
Then Mars squares the Nodes.
The Nodes are our destiny.
Mars is action.
This is where you stop talking about the bad things that happened to you and do something different.
It’s time to step into your power.
This week starts with releasing the victim loop.
Then Jupiter enters Leo and asks you to step into the spotlight.
Can your self-worth rise to the occasion?
Because it is time to take the lead in your own life.
