Reality Check Before the Next Shift
Weekly Astrology | April 19-25, 2026
You planted the seed, NOW WHAT?
You back the fuck off and let it grow.
That’s what.
Because you do expect it to grow right?
That’s how manifestation works.
So yes, you water it and make sure it can get sunlight.
You check on it every once in a while.
But then you go about your business.
This is manifesting 101.
But what we’re not going to do is hover over it like psychopaths…
Asking ourselves over and over…
Did it sprout yet?
Did it sprout yet?
The New Moon is OVER
And what happens after a New Moon?
A Waxing Moon.
And a Waxing Moon builds momentum.
If you didn’t start your thing, it’s not too late.
The energy is still here to support you.
All planets are still direct until May 6.
We still have Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune and Chiron in Aries.
The spark is still there.
But do it now.

At The End of This Post
It’s been a crazy past couple of weeks.
The Aries energy has been intense.
The energy in the air has felt life changing.
Things may have felt motivating, exciting, manic, impulsive, competitive, aggressive or anxiety inducing.
Or all of the above.
Either way you were energized.
And you are meant to do something with all that energy coursing through your body or it can turn into anxiety.
And at the same the energy has also been thick with fog.
Not allowing us to see things clearly.
Not allowing us to see the whole picture.
It seems almost unfair to have all this forward momentum but only be able to see a few feet ahead.
So maybe you did some things.
Maybe you quit something that you will regret it.
Maybe you started something you do not actually want to finish.
Maybe you started a project that could change your life.
Maybe you made a move that was completely aligned.
What did you do with the New Moon energy?
That is Aries.
It acts first, asks questions later.
Sometimes that is exactly what we need.
Because overthinking can really hold us back.
Sometimes it gets us into trouble.
Because we still to think things through somewhat.
It’s a delicate dance, isn’t it?
This week, we get a reality check.
This week Mars has separated from Neptune and that fog has lifted.
And on April 19, Mars conjuncts Saturn.
So this week we are stepping out the fog and straight into a sobering reality check.
Just as you are starting to see things more clearly, Saturn shows up and Saturn’s got questions…
Saturn want to know…
Is your plan realistic?
Have you put in the work?
Have you been responsible with your time?
If you have been moving in alignment, Saturn can strengthen what you started.
If you have been building something real, Saturn can help you commit.
If you have been taking action that is actually sustainable, Saturn can give it structure.
But if you have been reckless, impulsive, destructive, or headed down a path that is not really for you, Saturn is here to show you that too.
Saturn will block you, delay you and reroute you if it needs to.
Whether you like it or not.
This is where impulse meets consequence.
This is where excitement meets responsibility.
This is FAFO.
The sky is still Aries packed.
Mercury
Mars
Saturn
Neptune
Chiron
Sun enters Taurus
Taurus season starts April 20.
So we start this week with an unmistakable energetic shift into more earth energy.
Grounded energy.
The fire is still blazing but…
You can feel the difference.
The pressure does not disappear.
But it starts to settle.
It starts to root.
It starts to slow down enough for us to actually feel where we are.
Taurus is grounded.
Taurus is stabilizing.
Taurus wants something real.

Venusian Sun
When the Sun was in Aries, the Sun was answering to Mars.
Now that the Sun enters Taurus, the Sun answers to Venus.
Now the energy of the sky is no longer being filtered through Mars alone.
It is now moving through Venusian energy also.
Venus wants us to slow down enough to ask, is this actually worth it?
Do I like this?
Does it bring value into my life?
Can this grow into something lasting?
That is part of why this shift into Taurus feels more grounded.
So after the intensity, the pushing, the reacting, and the rushing, we get a chance to come back into our body and ask what is actually worth building.
Mercury Meets Mars and Saturn
And then on April 20, Mercury finally figures it the fuck out.
Mercury is how we think and communicate.
Mercury is your thoughts, your words, your decisions, the way you process what is happening.
So now the reality check is not just energetic.
It is mental and verbal.
There may be something you need to talk about or think through.
Or both.
Mercury joining Mars and Saturn can bring hard conversations.
Clear decisions.
Blunt truths.
This is where the mind catches up to the intensity the body has already been feeling.
This can be productive.
But it can also feel uncomfortable.
Because Aries does not beat around the bush.
And Saturn does not let anything slide.
So, this part of the week can feel like the moment where something becomes very obvious.
We’ve been waiting for clarity.
Well, this is it.
Venus enters Gemini.
On April 24, Venus enters Gemini.
The week started off offering us grounded energy.
But by the end of the week, it’s counteracted by flightiness.
And ultimately back to Aries energy.
Now Venus answers to Mercury, which answers to Mars.
This first hint that the energy is about to move out of the body and into the air.
Out of grounding and into upheaval.
Out of stabilizing and into shifting.
Venus in Gemini wants movement.
Conversation.
Curiosity.
Options.
It wants to connect.
It wants to learn.
It wants to flirt with possibility.
It wants variety.
So by the time we get to the end of this week, things may start feeling lighter.
More social.
More mentally stimulating.
But also a little harder to pin down.
And that is because Venus entering Gemini is not happening in a vacuum.
It is the foreshadowing of…
